Who should attend?
For all persons starting work for the first time in the temporary traffic management industry, and for those persons that do not hold any current NHSS12ABCD certificates or cards and for those who have held any NHSS 12ABCD skills that have expired by more than 2 years. M7 is a stand alone category and does not remove the requirement for TTMBC.What will be covered?

Other areas of interest
As the TTMBC is a foundation trainee course it is expected that as part of your career progression that you move on to complete one of the other 12ABCD operative courses and not retake the TTMBC.
The NHSS 12AB Operative course, for working on static TTM on motorways and high speed dual carriageways, cannot be taken until 3 months after the TTMBC is completed as it is a requirement of this scheme for the person to gain 3 months ‘on the job’ experience prior to completing the operative course. The NHSS 12C Operative course, for mobile lane closures on motorways and high speed dual carriageways, can be taken immediately after the TTMBC as there are no other prerequisites. For more information on this course please search for 12C Operative course on our website:
The NHSS 12D T1/T2 course, for working on single carriageway urban and rural roads, can be taken immediately after the TTMBC as there are no other prerequisites. For more information on this course please search for 12D T1/T2 course on our website.
